Did you know that a suit rarely fits perfectly right away?

For almost every suit purchase, the following adjustments are usually needed:

1. Jacket sleeves are slightly shortened so that about 1 cm of the shirt cuff is visible. Cost: approx. €25.
2. Trouser length is shortened by a few centimeters to achieve the perfect fit. Cost: approx. €15.

These two adjustments together typically cost around €40–50 at a good tailor and can be done quickly and reliably. So if our suit doesn’t fit perfectly right away, that’s completely normal – you simply need a local tailor to perfect it for you.

3. Trouser length and leg opening. It’s also common to shorten trousers and taper them slightly. This adjustment is also quick and easy for a tailor. The cost is around €30 for shortening and tapering. The same applies to jeans.
